Communications Resources (CR) Rates for 2005-2006

Communications Resources rates for 2005-2006 have been approved by the Campus Rate Committee. The new rates will be effective October 1, 2005, and will appear on your October CR Billing Statement. The 2005-2006 rates will not be applied retroactively to the start of the fiscal year (July 2005). These changes were made to appropriately align rates with actual service costs.

Due to cost savings, operational efficiencies, and improved accounting methods, a majority of the monthly recurring rates have declined. One-time rates have also been adjusted to accurately reflect the costs of these services. As a result, a majority of the one-time rates have increased. The most significant change in the 2005-2006 CR rates is a 5% voice line rate decrease, from $27/line to $25.50/line monthly. Other notable monthly and one-time rate changes are listed here:
