Phase 1 of the UCDNet3 Project: Network Core Upgrade

The UCDNet3 project, which will upgrade the UC Davis network backbone, is underway. As a first step, IET - Communication Resources will replace the Area Distribution Frames (ADFs), which route network traffic to various large segments of the campus network. The ADF replacements are planned during non-business hours and no interruptions in network service are anticipated. To make sure that network administrators are kept apprised of infrastructure changes that may affect their network connectivity, the following chart illustrates IET - Communication Resources network area equipment replacement schedule.
